Yes, with considerations, door weight, hinge type, how they swing etc. Please give us a call and we can advise on best practice.
No, maintaining consistent pricing throughout the year helps us build trust with our customers, as they don’t have to worry about fluctuating prices. It also allows us to avoid the pitfalls of artificially inflating prices during peak seasons only to offer discounts later, which can sometimes feel a bit misleading or create the impression of false value. By sticking with a fair and steady price year-round our customers appreciate the simplicity and transparency of our pricing. This approach aligns with the idea of offering good value without the need for constant sales or promotions. That said we can offer discounts for large orders if you have a project that allows us to mass produce the same or similar products. The volume would need to be at least 100 items. Please contact us for further details.
Our lead times are constantly changing and depend on our current workload. For the most up to date lead time, just drop us an email.
Yes, we’d be delighted to help! We collaborate closely with a select group of trusted fitters located near us. They typically work within a 50-mile radius of our location. If you’re within this area, we can arrange the fitting for you. For those outside this radius, we recommend using a local fitter for cost efficiency. We’re always happy to assist your chosen fitter by explaining the fitting process for our products to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Our timber is sourced through a trusted local supplier committed to sustainability throughout the chain of custody. The oak we use comes from a company in Northern Italy, which owns and manages forestry concessions in Croatia. Our tulipwood is sourced from the Appalachian Mountains in the United States. We work exclusively with this supplier to ensure that all our timber is sustainably and responsibly sourced.
Again, the same as our timber, only from sustainable sources. Our MDF is produced in Belgium and passes to another company based local to us.
Although occasional, we do ship abroad, we have undertaken projects as far away as the British Virgin Islands. There is some shipping paperwork involved but it is fairly straight forward. Please call to discuss.
You can order samples through the dedicated section on our website. Our samples are 300mm square and available in all our door designs. They are more affordable when ordered in a standard colour, but if you’d like a custom colour, there is a small additional cost. If you place a purchase with us, we will refund the cost of your sample.
While our colour matching is highly accurate, our paints use a different formula than typical off-the-shelf products, which can result in slight variations in the finish. The colour itself will match, but it may appear slightly different. For this reason, it’s usually best to choose a complementary colour for your doors.
We aim to create products of the highest quality. However, if something does go wrong and it's our fault, we believe it’s better to handle it ourselves. Instead of relying on a third-party insurance company for compensation, we offer our own commitment to fix the issue. This approach is more customer-focused. It allows us to work directly with our customers, providing reassurance that we can resolve the issue in-house. We maintain full control over the process, ensuring a high standard of service.
We use premium water-based, factory-grade finishes that deliver exceptional durability and a flawless appearance. We can precisely colour-match any shade from mainstream paint manufacturers, ensuring your vision comes to life. Partnering with the industry's leading and most trusted supplier, we guarantee top-quality results.
15% (Flat matt) is our go to. We can also spray to 40% (Satin). We don’t spray in 80% (Gloss).
We manufacture our painted doors from slab MDF because it offers superior durability and a flawless finish. Using our advanced 5-axis CNC machine, we cut and rout the entire door from a single sheet of MDF. This eliminates joints or abutting surfaces, avoiding the risk of hairline cracks in the paint often seen with traditional five-piece door designs. Slab MDF construction is the most efficient and stable method for creating MDF cabinet doors. When sprayed, MDF produces a perfectly smooth, glass-like surface. We use only the highest-grade MDF, which boasts a density even greater than solid oak, ensuring unmatched quality and performance.
Our doors and panels are feed through an auto spray machine into a drying room. Auto spraying allows efficient and consistent finishing thus optimising quality and process control. This means we can pass on reduced costs. A spray finish machine allows us to prioritize speed, quality, and efficiency. It outperforms manual methods in nearly every aspect, particularly for repetitive tasks and high-volume production.
A shut line is the space between a door and its neighbouring door or cabinet side. It allows for doors to open without them catching each other. For example, if we make a door for a cabinet measuring H800 x W600 then the door would be H796 x W596 allowing a 2mm space around its perimeter.
We've made a heavy investment in efficient machinery and paint technology to be able to spray in house, they paint systems are robustly designed to protect your new doors and cabinetry, the costs overall will always be cheaper to finish in a factory environment rather than on site. The only exception to this is if you really prefer a hand brush finish.
Yes, we do. Traditional five-piece doors are a popular choice, though they tend to be more expensive than MDF alternatives. Careful selection of timber is essential to ensure the best results. The primary consideration is whether you prefer a painted finish that reveals the natural wood grain or a completely smooth, uniform appearance.
Yes, we work closely with a lot of interior designers and architects that design their own doors, our website lists some designs but it would be overwhelming to list everything we can make. We love to work with bespoke commissions. Send us a sketch and we will design with joinery principles.
That depends on your budget and what quality you would like. Our cabinetry is of the highest standard, is price efficient for the quality and can be fully bespoke or customised for size and material choice. That said there are a lot of cheaper alternatives that may suit your requirements. Mainstream suppliers tend to produce a 'range' of sizing and have limited material choices. Ikea and Howdens offer budget efficient options and design services that may suffice.

Yes, for our cabinetry but not for our doors only service. We design in AutoCAD and produce plan and elevational drawings. Yes, they aren't as complicated as them may seem. Most mainstream suppliers don’t make them because they are always custom. Maybe you have sloping ceilings and want to build some slopped backed cabinets or maybe you have a run of wardrobes that need sloped doors across their width. Please give us a call to discuss the options available.
