The Cotswold Farmhouse

The Cotswolds Farmhouse is a stunning Grade II listed property, originally built in the 1700s and recently restored through a full joinery project that honoured its historic charm while introducing thoughtful, timeless updates. Our team was entrusted with designing and crafting bespoke joinery throughout the home, including the utility room, boot room, library, internal doors, wardrobes, radiator covers, and a custom vanity unit.

Maintaining the integrity of the period property was central to the brief. To achieve this, we drew on classic design details such as traditional Shaker profiles, applied mouldings, and tongue & groove panelling. This ensured a sense of continuity across each space while staying true to the building’s heritage.

A carefully considered colour palette was used to elevate the overall scheme. Soft neutrals create a sense of calm, while rich blues and elegant greens lend warmth and depth, perfectly complementing the textures and tones of the original architecture.

The result is a beautifully cohesive home that feels authentic, inviting, and utterly timeless. Every detail has been approached with sensitivity to the building’s character, and the bespoke cabinetry adds quiet sophistication throughout. This project is a celebration of British craftsmanship and enduring design.
