Mirror Pavilion

The Mirror Pavilion is a striking 1930's themed pop-up venue, created for Bruern Events. Inspired by the elegance of a Spiegeltent, this bespoke structure was two years in the making and is fully transportable, ready to bring glamour to any location.

Foxstow, in collaboration with DuCroz Architects were responsible for the design and creation of the sleek timber work, seating booths and intricate gold fretwork in this bold and fabulous structure. With an existing relationship between the client and architect, this partnership was a natural fit to bring such a distinctive vision to life.

Designed to host events on the client's Cotswold estate and beyond, the project began with extensive storyboarding, drawing inspiration from traditional Spiegel tents along with 1930's cabaret club's. Once design direction was established, 3D modelling and sample mock ups were created to explore patterns, fabrics and finishes. Full scale mock ups were then created to perfect the pavilion's proportions and details.

Nuances of this project included that the joinery had to be demountable, and have tolerances to allow for discrepancies when building the tent.

The result is a transportable, immersive venue, rich in charm tailored for unforgettable events.
